Howdy!
September was mainly full of New Wilmington Hotel gigs; I ordered some new backtracks of which included: Rocking All Over the World/Eight Days a Week/Uptown Funk/Shout/The Only Way is Up/All Night Long and a couple more Xmas songs – White Christmas and Silver Bells! I ordered 15 in all and they should all be well received. I’m doing a lot of hotel gigs in Eastbourne these days and have acquired a new one – The York House Hotel, first gig is next week so I’m looking forward to that. I enjoy singing old songs too!
The Southborough Club and The Chef and Brewer in Wateringbury were good gigs. The restaurant was a new one for me and they were really pleased with the response I received 🙂
The Royal British Legion was the 1st October and they’re always a lovely crowd to sing for and of course I love their stage!
I sang for a man’s 50th on the 15th and that was a great night! They loved Rod Stewart and enjoyed a lot of dancing with me under the gazebo!
Happy Jacks Bar at EB Borough Football Club was another good one – especially Deliliah at the end 😉
The Treacle Mine on the 23rd was nice – the staff always enjoy me a lot there and really look after me well!
I did another private party midweek on the 25th for the Oddfellows and made the most of the huge stage at The Crowborough Club!! I had a sore throat that night but managed to sing, although my gig for The Trade Union Club in Eastbourne that weekend I had to cancel.
I’m rested and better now and have started Christmas at The New Wilmington! I’m doing all their New Years Eve’s again (plus the real one!) So on Sunday night it was Old Lang Syne and party poppers! I sang just one Xmas song (they weren’t quite ready for anymore haha!)
So parties, glitter, streamers and tinsel – here I come!!!
