September – October Gigs!

Well hi November! Time is flying and I’ve just begun the Christmas rehearsing! Not that it needs much – you don’t seem to forget Christmas songs!! I’ll be singing Brenda Lee’s Rocking Around The Christmas Tree, Wish It Could be Christmas by Wizzard and Bing Crosby’s White Christmas this Sunday at The New Wilmington Hotel in Eastbourne as the Turkey and Tinsel season will have begun, which means full-on Christmas and I’ll probably be doing New Year Eve’s now (Auld Lang Syne!) right up until I sing there on the REAL New Years Eve when the hotel is going to be at full capacity 🙂

So let’s go back to September and mention all of the other gigs that I do: The British Queen in Willingdon’s gig on the 2nd – it was a great night as usual and the folk that were there really enjoyed letting their hair down! I remember not being able to co-ordinate the dancing to Status Quo at the end!!!?

On the 9th I played the Eastbourne WMC and that was a good gig too as there was a lot of dancing and fun and photos outside after too!

Happy Jacks Bar on the 23rd was a good one again, I had to do two encores: Snow Patrol and Bon Jovi. I had an Elvis request and I did Suspicious Minds. I had help from a nice young guy with all my equipment as I was on my own that night – you don’t forget these things when people are kind to you and I was v grateful!

I had a late entry for The Hollington Oak in St Leonards on the 30th! A couple who’s wedding I sang at a few years ago came to watch and they hadn’t seen me in two years – they had a great night! The punters loved Tragedy/Three Little Birds/All Night Long and it was LOUD and there was dancing!

Into October and The Rusthall Club on the 12th was really good – lots of peeps came to see me which was so nice and I did loads of loud rocking tracks up on that stage!!

On the 28th I performed for a lady’s 50th birthday at Poult Wood Golf Course and what a great night she had! All her guests really had such fun and were dancing all night, their faves were Status Quo, We are Family and Michael Jackson! It was a pleasure to do and the lady even called me up the next day to say how happy she was with how it went – awesome!!

So there you go, if you are looking for a wedding singer or party entertainment, if you are a pub looking for music or a club – call me and you won’t be disappointed!

New songs are coming and they’re gonna be great – Otis Reading, Little Richard, The Everly Brothers, The Kinks, John Lennon, Justin Timberlake, Bob Marley, Roy Orbison, more Bee Gees, more Stevie Wonder…2018 is gonna be bigger and better so keep following my Facebook site to find out where I’m singing next!

This just leaves me to wish all of you a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year – and let’s keep on rockin!!!! xxxxxxxxxx
