So over the last couple of months I have been busy entertaining East Sussex as usual! The start of the month began rather dangerously with a couple of dancing audience members requiring first aid – they were just happily dancing and rocking it out – these things happen! Luckily they were both ok (I think!)
I sang at Blackstock Farm’s Wedding Showcase in July which was very pleasant and I met some nice people! I sang obviously a lot of romantic songs, John Legend’s All of Me was a big hit as was Songbird by Eva Cassidy. I would like the opportunity to sing at more weddings as I can promise I will have everyone up dancing and really having a great memorable time! Blame it on the Boogie and Jump by the Pointer Sisters are always well received at weddings – the classics!
The Crown and Anchor in Eastbourne at the beginning of August was a good one too, they are such a great audience and seem to really enjoy what I do! I had a live video recorded and it’s on my Facebook Page (JustineClarkWeddingSinger in case you didn’t know!) if you want to have a look! Think it was Take That’s – We Can Rule The World!
I was at The Beau Nash in Tunbridge Wells on the 13th and a lot of people came out to see me which was fantastic! They totally rocked to Bon Jovi and as for the pole dancing…it was entertaining for me too! I am now booked for a private party in Heathfield from this gig which I am really looking forward to – shut ya windows Heathfield on October 15th 😉
On Sunday 14th I sang a few songs at Airborne (vid on FB site!) It was fun to do and I wished I could’ve been on the big stage!!!!
So not much to report for these two hot months, a lot of hotel gigs at The New Wilmington for me, soon be counting down to Turkey and Tinsel – eeek!
The Rusthall Club on the 20th was cool – as you will see if you go to my FBook site – Tiffiny eat ya heart out haha!
On the 21st I sang at The Lakeside Cafe very near to me in Horam, it’s a funky cafe tucked round the back of Horam and they loved it so hope to be back there again sometime soon 🙂
I sang for the TUC in Eastbourne on the 26th, it was for a charity night they were holding for a Children’s Cancer charity so it was a pleasure to perform an hour’s worth of pure 80’s for them – really enjoyed seeing all the legwarmers and 80’s fashion! A girl shaved her hair off for the charity – so brave. I hope they raised a good amount.
And The Castle on B/Hol Sunday PM was great as always, I sang a special song (He Ain’t Heavy) for the landlord and landladies’ wedding anniversary!
Lastly, I was asked if I could record a couple’s wedding song for them as they were celebrating four years together, of course I said yes! It was Suddenly by Angry Anderson and they were so happy with the end result. I hope you all know that if you have a special song then I would love to record it for you, it won’t cost you much and it’s a special keepsake that lasts a lifetime.
So catch ya’ll in the Autumn for another update, until then, if you know of anyone who needs any wedding entertainment, or who is having a party, or of any local venues who need a good female singer – give them my name – JUSTINE!!!
