February Catch Up!

So I thought I should blog again about what’s been happening in Justine’s world!

I really enjoyed performing at The White Rock Theatre’s Wedding Fayre last Sunday, I had their nice big stage downstairs all to myself and entertained people all day (I didn’t continuously sing of course!)  It was nice meeting lots of couples and I hope to get a gig or two from the day.

I’ve been pretty busy learning my new set for The New Wilmington Hotel in Eastbourne. They are going to be getting The Carpenters, Gladys Knight, Elvis, Patsy Cline, Nat King Cole to name but a few.  I’m enjoying learning these different songs, makes a pleasant change from the modern rock/pop I normally do!

I realised last Friday that I had a Saturday off last week which was really weird and I have my last Sat night gig in over a month coming up this Saturday at The Royal British Legion in Polegate; I haven’t played there before, they seem really friendly and you don’t have to be a member of the armed forces to go there so that’s good!  Yes, in March I just have a few mid-week gigs to do and that’s it, really strange as every other month of this year I’m really busy doing pubs, clubs, hotels and private parties, but I’m going to enjoy the break, (and may even sneak away to a spa for a few nights!)

I still have many new songs I need to learn so I’d better get on with it!

Bye for now and I’ll blog again soon!
